The Chief Sealth Seahawks will square off against the Nathan Hale Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Chief Sealth 2.3, Nathan Hale 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Chief Sealth's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Franklin with a sharp 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Seahawks, who have now won eight matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Seth Clark, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. He has become a key player for Chief Sealth: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Nevin Pivar, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Nathan Hale ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over Garfield. The win was nothing new for the Raiders as they're now sitting on five straight.
Finn Leach was excellent, scoring a run while going 4-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Gonzalez, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Nathan Hale was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Nathan Hale's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Chief Sealth, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Chief Sealth has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Nathan Hale struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Chief Sealth came up short against Nathan Hale when the teams last played back in March of 2024, falling 7-2. Can the Seahawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
