Two dominant players in Easton Rhodes and Noah Alaniz are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Christian Learning Center Mustangs just played last night, but they'll still head out to face Center Place at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. Christian Learning Center is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
On Thursday, things could have been worse for Christian Learning Center, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 53-38 loss to Clinton Christian Academy.
Ryan Koch put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 11 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that he grabbed two or more steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Hill, who scored ten points along with six steals.
Meanwhile, Center Place lost a heartbreaker to Plaza Heights Christian Academy when they met back in February of 2023, and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. Center Place fell 68-55 to Plaza Heights Christian Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Christian Learning Center now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Center Place, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
Christian Learning Center couldn't quite finish off Center Place when the teams last played back in December of 2023 and fell 46-43. Can Christian Learning Center avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
