The Las Lomas Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They breezed by Mt. Diablo at home to the tune of 87-40. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Las Lomas as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
It was another big night for Julian Vaucher, who scored 21 points along with four steals. Will Jones was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with four steals.
Las Lomas' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-10. As for Mt. Diablo, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season.
Las Lomas will be playing in front of their home fans against Benicia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Benicia has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 800 points over their last 12 matchups. Mt. Diablo will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against College Park at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. College Park is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 57.6 points per game.
