For the first time this season, Northtown will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing at home against the Walther Christian Academy Broncos at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Northtown is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Walther Christian Academy had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Intrinsic on Thursday as they made off with an 18-2 victory. The Broncos' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Isabella Ziupsnys made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over four innings pitched. Ziupsnys was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, Selah Argueta was incredible, firing off two home runs, four runs, and four RBI while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Leslie Anguiano, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
Walther Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .652. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Walther Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Northtown, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
