A Season-Best Effort from Chris Cole Leads Brooks County over Lanier County
On Friday, Brooks County got the W thanks in part to Chris Cole playing the best football he has all season. Cole rushed for 235 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry.
The win was the third in a row for Brooks County, bringing their record for this year to 5-3. Cole and Brooks County will head out to challenge Charlton County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Grant is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Clinch County on Friday. When Grant last faced the Panthers back in October of 2023, he picked up 77 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown.

Luke Snyder Dazzles in Irwin County Defeat
While Irwin County might've come up empty on Friday, Luke Snyder wasn't going down without a fight. Snyder was dynamite, rushing for 69 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 155 yards and a touchdown.
Irwin County moved to 7-1 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak. Snyder and Irwin County will square off against Lanier County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
