The Bryant Hornets had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.4 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They breezed by North Little Rock at home to the tune of 52-21. Considering Bryant has won six matchups by more than 25 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Bryant was led to victory by Mytorian Singleton and Jordan Walker. Singleton picked up 142 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while Walker threw for 251 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes.
Several Charging Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tyson Bradden, who punched in a rushing scores, and also threw for 115 yards and a touchdown.
Bryant's victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-1. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.33 points. As for North Little Rock, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bryant will face off against Conway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Conway knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine matches -- so hopefully Bryant likes a good challenge. As for North Little Rock, they will head out on the road to face off against Cabot at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arkansas (Cabot is ranked 13th, while North Little Rock is ranked 27th).
