After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Overton, the Christian Heritage Sentinels were happy to have found some success on Friday. They walked away with a 43-36 victory over Longview Christian. The score was all tied up 24-24 at the break, but Christian Heritage was the better team in the second half.
Despite the loss, Longview Christian still got an impressive performance from Oscar Adame, who scored 8 points along with 10 rebounds and 4 steals. Adame is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Judah Sandel, who scored 8 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals.
Christian Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Longview Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christian Heritage will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Union Hill at 5:00 p.m. on December 5th. As for Longview Christian, they will challenge St. Mary's at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
