When it comes to explaining why Bible Baptist Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Trent Hamilton. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. Hamilton scored a full 36.2% of Bible Baptist Christian's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Hamilton, who scored 7 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
North Georgia Christian Academy was led to victory by Gavin Armour and Luke Beaver. Armour scored 18 points, while Beaver scored 24 points. The matchup was Beaver's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was J Moulton, who scored 6 points.
Bible Baptist Christian has yet to win a matchup on the road this season, leaving them with a 5-2 record. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for North Georgia Christian Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
Bible Baptist Christian will be playing at home against Grace Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Georgia Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Covenant Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Covenant Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 303rd, while North Georgia Christian Academy is ranked 28th).
