The Beyer Patriots will challenge the Livingston Wolves at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
Beyer is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victor by an 18-1 margin over Johansen on Monday. With that victory, the Patriots brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.
Destiny Pitts was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That one hit allowed gave her a new career-low. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 4-for-5. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in hits.

Beyer kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Livingston hadn't done well against Ceres recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Livingston came out on top against Ceres by a score of 14-9.
Olivia Costa was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as she's now brought in three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Alexis Ross was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base.
Beyer pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Livingston, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
Livingston's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Friday. Beyer has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.8 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Livingston, though, as they've been averaging only 3.3 strikeouts. Will Beyer keep running through batters, or will Livingston buck the trend?
