The Harrisonville Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 60-28 loss at the hands of Grandview. Harrisonville has struggled against Grandview recently, as their matchup on Wednesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Grandview got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jada Smith out in front who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. Sh?ryah Wright was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Harrisonville has not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Grandview, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.
Harrisonville will be playing in front of their home fans against Knob Noster at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Grandview won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Central at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th. Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 390th, while Grandview is ranked 73rd).
