Boonsboro has gone 9-1 against Middletown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Warriors are taking a road trip to take on the Knights at 4:30 p.m. Boonsboro knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Middletown likes a good challenge.
Middletown's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Friday: Boonsboro hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. The Warriors blew past Brunswick 16-0 on Wednesday. Fans of the Warriors have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Addison Tyler was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one hit any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Kamryn Dillow and Kalyn Lawrence did most of the damage at the plate: Dillow went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base, while Lawrence went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Dillow has launched this season. Mylee Hartman was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
Boonsboro always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .632. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brunswick only posted an OBP of .062.
Meanwhile, Middletown fell victim to Catoctin and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.
Boonsboro's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.9 runs over those games. As for Middletown, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 11-2.
Boonsboro came out on top in a nail-biter against Middletown in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, sneaking past 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
