With a playoff win on the line, E.D. White rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the Leesville Wampus Cats, posting a 41-13 win. Considering the Cardinals have won eight matches by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

When it comes to explaining why Leesville lost, don't look at Xavier Ford. Despite the final result, he rushed for 160 yards and two touchdowns. Ford's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 160 rushing yards.

E.D. White pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.2 points per game. As for Leesville, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-3.

E.D. White will take on Archbishop Shaw on Thursday. Archbishop Shaw will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something E.D. White surely won't give up without a fight. Leesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
