While Aurora's win against Nebraska City wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huskies beat the Pioneers by a goal, winning 2-1. Aurora's winning goal came courtesy of Emmett Dick.

Aurora is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four matchups. As for Nebraska City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Aurora will take on rival Seward at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Nebraska City is set to challenge their familiar foe Beatrice at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
