Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Neuse Christian Academy Lions  a   14-0 shutout. With that  victory, St. Thomas More Academy brought their scoring average up to 6.5  runs per game.
  Nello Caparoni made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out 13 over five innings pitched.
