Freeport had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Rockford Auburn on Wednesday. The Pretzels put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 11-1 victory. The Pretzels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 games by six runs or more this season.

Freeport has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Rockford Auburn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.
