Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Floresville's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

If Carrizo Springs wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Floresville, they should've done a better job of containing Samuel Rodriguez. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.

Floresville has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-16 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Carrizo Springs, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-13.

Floresville will take on Pleasanton at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Floresville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Pleasanton likes a good challenge. As for Carrizo Springs, they will square off against Uvalde at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Carrizo Springs is facing Uvalde at the right time seeing as Uvalde is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
