St. John's/Tipton Catholic's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jacob Winkler, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Edward Horinek, who scored 15 points.
Osborne's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points per game. As for St. John's/Tipton Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.
