After a string of four wins, the St. Martin Yellow Jackets's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 44-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jackson.
Jackson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jazmine Jones, who scored 12 points. The match was Jones' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Angel Powell, who scored 8 points.
St. Martin's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Jackson, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
St. Martin will be playing at home against Hancock at 6:00 p.m. on November 28th. Hancock's defense has only allowed 26.6 points per game this season, so St. Martin's offense will have their work cut out for St. Martin. Jackson will be staying on the road on November 30th to face off against Fruitdale at 5:00 p.m. on November 30th.
