After a string of four wins, the St. Martin Yellow Jackets's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 44-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jackson.
Jackson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jazmine Jones, who scored 12 points. The match was Jones' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Angel Powell, who scored 8 points.
St. Martin's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Jackson, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
St. Martin will be playing at home against Hancock at 6:00 p.m. on November 28th. Hancock's defense has only allowed 26.6 points per game this season, so St. Martin's offense will have their work cut out for St. Martin.
