Cypress scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Tustin Tillers as the Cypress Centurions made off with  a  19-2 win. The high-scoring effort was just what Cypress needed considering they were shutout in their previous   contest.
  Delaney Faus was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (she also only allowed one  walk). Faus has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Faus was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with a  triple and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Breana Townsend and  Alexis Stamper did most of the damage at the plate:  Townsend  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3, while  Stamper  scored three  runs while going 3-for-3.  Leila Rodriguez was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
 On Tustin's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Samantha Reyes, who  went 2-for-2 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 Cypress now  has a winning record of 9-8. As for Tustin,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 5-9.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cypress will take on Valencia at 3:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Valencia is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.8  runs per game this season. As for Tustin, they will play host again  on Tuesday to welcome Kennedy, where first pitch is scheduled  at 3:15  p.m.
