THORNTON, Colo. -
Horizon (Thornton, Colo.) fell 26-7 to
Regis Jesuit (Aurora, Colo.).
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Grant Neal in the second quarter, the Raiders led 10-0 at the half.
Regis Jesuit grew its lead to 19 points entering the fourth quarter. RJ scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by
Matt Houghtaling to
Jalen Williams.
Horizon's only touchdown came on a 21-yard pass from
Ayden Karraker to
Greg Gonzales in the fourth quarter.
Horizon (0-2) will play a non-conference game against Northglenn next week, while Regis Jesuit (2-0) will take on Mullen also in a non-conference game.
