The Richfield Wildcats waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins but they left with five. They blew past Juab 48-26. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Richfield has posted against Juab since November 26, 2019.
Miles Barnett continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jorgen Southwick, who scored eight points.
Loss or not, Juab got some senior leadership from Daymon Wright and Braxton Hooper. Wright scored three points along with two steals, while Hooper. scored six points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Richfield has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Juab, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 9-5.
Richfield will head out on the road to face off against Delta at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Delta is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 55.1 points per game. As for Juab, they will be playing at home against Manti at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Averaging 67.2 so far this season, Manti's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Juab better be ready for a challenge.
