Even though The Dade County Wolverines have not done well against the Pepperell Dragons recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Dade County came out on top against Pepperell by a score of 26-15. The victory was nothing new for Dade County as they're now sitting on three straight.
It was another big night for Landon Williams, who rushed for 174 yards and two touchdowns.
Dade County's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Pepperell, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-5.
Dade County will take on Armuchee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Armuchee comes in on a streak of failing to score more than seven points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Pepperell, they will head out on the road to face off against Coosa at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Coosa is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
