Kailyn Gahagan was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (five). She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Alexis Fetzer was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024. Central's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Penn Cambria has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.8 hits per game.
