Luray will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Buffalo Gap at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes : the MaxPreps state rankings predict a close match.
Luray made easy work of Strasburg last Friday and carried off a 35-7 victory. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Luray had established a 28-7 advantage.
The crowd came for a game, and Buffalo Gap and McCluer sure delivered. It was a contest that couldn't have wound up any closer, but Buffalo Gap snuck past McCluer for the 42-41 win.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 2-0. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up they can run the score.
