It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Hernando Leopards had no problem doing just that on Monday. They claimed a resounding 50-17 win over the Bears on the road. Hernando has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Hernando got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyrah Gary out in front who scored 12 points. Gary is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Kayla Holloman, who scored 15 points.
Hernando has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season. As for Central, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-23.
Hernando does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Central also has no future games currently scheduled.
