Vale waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Baker/Powder Valley Bulldogs 10-1. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Vale pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Baker/Powder Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Coming up, Vale will head out to face off against Heppner/Ione at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Baker/Powder Valley, they will face off against La Grande at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
