Milton took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Friday. They won a match that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Crestview Bulldogs 20-19. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 42-7 loss the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Crestview still got an impressive performance from Zy Tassin, who rushed for 94 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries. Tassin got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 58 yards.
Coming up, Milton is taking a road trip to challenge Pensacola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Crestview, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Choctawhatchee at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
