On Friday Mount Desert Island take on Hampden at 7:00 PM. Mount Desert Island have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
Mount Desert Island couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. Last week, they came up short against Oceanside, falling 30-40.
Meanwhile, Hampden had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a 6-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of Westbrook.
The losses dropped both teams to 0-1. We'll see which team satisfies that hunger and which team leaves with an empty belly.
