North Lincoln and West Lincoln are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The North Lincoln Knights will be playing at home against the West Lincoln Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
North Lincoln entered their tilt with Mooresville with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. North Lincoln blew past Mooresville 69-43. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-15.
North Lincoln's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ally Smith, who scored 16 points along with 7 steals and 5 assists. The match was Smith's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Grice, who scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, West Lincoln had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Cherryville 54-35 on Friday.
North Lincoln's win lifted them to 3-0 while Mooresville's defeat dropped them down to 1-4.
North Lincoln came up short against West Lincoln in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 59-51. Thankfully for North Lincoln, Chloe Norman (who scored 21 points along with 3 steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
