El Modena dropped down to 4-4 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They had to suffer through  a    51-7 loss at the hands of the Tustin Tillers. The Vanguards were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  48-0.

 El Modena has already played their next game,  a  30-14  loss against Capistrano Valley on the 23rd. As for Tustin, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  42-21  victory against Western on the 23rd.
