North Bullitt barely beat South Oldham the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles blew past the Dragons 11-5 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 19 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The win was the third in a row for North Bullitt, bringing their record up to 26-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for South Oldham, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-17.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Bullitt will challenge St. Xavier at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for South Oldham, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Henry County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Dragons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
