Despite their defeat, Juniata Christian saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jack Bryan, who scored nine points, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Nathan Wright, who scored six points along with eight rebounds.
Immanuel Baptist's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-3. As for Juniata Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Immanuel Baptist took their win against Juniata Christian in their previous matchup back in February by a conclusive 50-30. The rematch might be a little tougher for Immanuel Baptist since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
