The Webster Warriors suffered their biggest loss since January 4th on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 66-34 loss at the hands of Rejoice Christian. Webster has not had much luck with Rejoice Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Webster lost, one person who can't be blamed is Sheldon Stephenson. Despite the final result, he scored 11 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stephenson has scored all season. Terrance Franklin was another key contributor, scoring five points along with six rebounds.
Webster has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for Rejoice Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Webster won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Okmulgee at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Okmulgee presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Webster in Oklahoma (Okmulgee is ranked 188th, while Webster is ranked 378th). As for Rejoice Christian, they will be playing at home against Metro Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
