Heritage Preparatory has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. After both having extra time off, they and the Harvester Christian Academy Hawks will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th.
Back in January, Heritage Preparatory had to suffer through a rough 63-33 loss at the hands of the Falcons.
Meanwhile, Harvester Christian Academy earned a 40-32 win over the Wildcats last Friday.
Harvester Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Kaitlyn Mercier, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Mercier has scored at least a third of Harvester Christian Academy's points. Riley Robinson was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
Heritage Preparatory has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Harvester Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
Heritage Preparatory didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the Hawks when the teams last played back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 44-40 win.
