The General Brown Lions will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Chittenango Bears at 7:15 p.m. on December 18th. General Brown will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 369th, while Chittenango is ranked 122nd).
General Brown's 18-6 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a serious blow against Lowville last Friday, falling 62-26. General Brown was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-8.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Chittenango at home against Homer on Friday as the team secured a 68-38 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-19.
Ryan Moesch was his usual excellent self, scoring 31 points. The contest was his sixth in a row with at least ten points. Jacob Bell was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
General Brown's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-3. As for Chittenango, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
