Graham-Kapowsin extended their winning streak to seven on Friday, bumping them up to 7-0. They took down the Olympia Bears 34-20. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Bears are ranked 61st).
Blake Pearson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 170 yards and two TDs on only 15 carries. Those two rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Randy Reyes Jr. helped out on the ground, rushing for 88 yards.
As for Olympia, they now have a losing record of 3-4. They haven't had much luck with Graham-Kapowsin recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.
Olympia's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tucker Downing, who threw for 282 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 71.9% of his passes. Ibrahima Diallo helped Downing out on the ground, picking up 83 receiving yards and one score.
