The Tulare Union The Tribe scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They walked away with a 77-69 victory over Tulare Western. The victory was just what Tulare Union needed coming off of a 63-42 loss in their prior contest.
Leading Tulare Union to victory were Demaje Riley and Brayden Stevenson. Riley scored 29 points along with seven rebounds and two steals, while Stevenson scored 28 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Riley has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Damien Rivera, who scored 16 points.
Tulare Union's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-10. As for Tulare Western, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tulare Union will square off against Lemoore at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Lemoore's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine matchups. As for Tulare Western, they will head out on the road to square off against Mission Oak at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
