Wapakoneta waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Allen East Mustangs get on the board and left with a 2-0 win.

The result came thanks to Joel Moore's shutout, as he gave up just three hits.

Wapakoneta's record is now 15-3. As for Allen East, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wapakoneta will host St. Henry at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Allen East, they will welcome Lincolnview at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Mustangs have won five straight at home, while the Lancers won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
