Perhaps the best among them was Moore Mackenzie, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Whitehead, who scored 13 points along with 5 assists.
SouthWest Edgecombe's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Fike, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
SouthWest Edgecombe won't have much time to rest: their next match is against North Lenoir at 6:00 p.m. on December 6th. North Lenoir is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. As for Fike, they will head out on the road to face off against Beddingfield at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Beddingfield presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Fike in North Carolina (Beddingfield is ranked 134th, while Fike is ranked 287th).
