In what's become a running theme this season, the Freedom Christian Academy Patriots gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They blew past Northwood Temple Academy 64-34 on the road. The win was just what Freedom Christian Academy needed coming off of a 52-30 loss in their prior matchup.
Freedom Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Allison Lett, who dropped a triple-double on 21 points, ten rebounds, and 11 blocks. Lett has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Izzie Dalton-Jimenez, who scored 15 points.
Freedom Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Northwood Temple Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10.
Freedom Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Generals at 5:30 p.m. Hopefully Wayne Preparatory Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 last Wednesday. As for Northwood Temple Academy, they will head out on the road to take on the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Fayetteville Christian is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
