Southern 3B recap October 22, 2013
Baker/Plevna extended the longest winning streak in Southern 3B this week by beating Shepherd, 40-6. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Colstrip/Lame Deer's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver.
Chase Mitchell of the Huntley Project is just 72 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 146 carries Mitchell has accumulated 928 yard this year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Baker/Plevna takes on the Colts. The Spartans are in first place, while Colstrip/Lame Deer is in fourth place.
Forsyth made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,989 from 5,486. The improvement was the result of a 20-7 victory over the Red Devils last week.
