The Roxbury Prep Charter Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 55-20 loss at the hands of Neighborhood House Charter. Roxbury Prep Charter has not had much luck with Neighborhood House Charter recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Neighborhood House Charter found their leader in underclassman Karin Richardson, who scored 32 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Richardson has scored at least a third of Neighborhood House Charter's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alicia Browder, who scored nine points.
Roxbury Prep Charter dropped their record down to 0-1 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.7 points per game. As for Neighborhood House Charter, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roxbury Prep Charter will take on Neighborhood House Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Neighborhood House Charter's defense has only allowed 19.7 points per game this season, so Roxbury Prep Charter's offense will have their work cut out for them. Neighborhood House Charter won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against New Mission at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th.
