The Libby Loggers fell victim to the Beaverhead County Beavers''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Beavers, falling 49-0. Having soared to a lofty 42 points in the game before, Libby couldn't push the score so high this time.
KEE CHRISTEANSEN continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Beaverhead County, throwing for 99 yards and three touchdowns, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground. CHRISTEANSEN was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 67 yards. MAX DAVIS was in the mix too, providing Beaverhead County with two touchdowns.
Beaverhead County's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was LANDEN PETERSON and his two sacks.
Libby's defeat was their ninth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 4-5. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 10.1 points per game. As for Beaverhead County, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
