Quentin Road Christian strolled past Berean Christian with points to spare, taking the game 51-32. The win made it back-to-back wins for Quentin Road Christian.
Meanwhile, Lake County Baptist earned a 45-36 win over Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family on Thursday. The win was just what Lake County Baptist needed coming off of a 58-35 loss in their prior contest.
Lake County Baptist's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Miles Davis, who scored 18 points, and Christopher Reindl, who scored 18 points. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Reindl has scored at least 25% of Lake County Baptist's points. Another player making a difference was Kwi Vifansi, who scored 6 points.
Quentin Road Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Lake County Baptist, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Quentin Road Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Lake County Baptist when the teams last played back in January, winning 54-43. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Lake County Baptist's Josue Valdemar, who scored 30 points.
