Bishop LeBlond has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge The Plattsburg Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Friday, everything came up roses for Bishop LeBlond at home against Greenfield as the team secured a 70-20 win.
Cooper Tabor was on fire: he threw for 343 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.3 yards per attempt. Bishop LeBlond also got help from Jackson Sigrist who showed off his sure hands for 148 receiving yards.
Bishop LeBlond's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Nick Daise and his two sacks.
Meanwhile, Plattsburg had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.4 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Concordia 53-13 on the road. Plattsburg had a rough season last year, but they looks ready to turn that poor record around this year.
Bishop LeBlond now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Plattsburg, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-1.
Bishop LeBlond came up short against Plattsburg in their previous matchup two weeks ago, falling 40-34. Can Bishop LeBlond avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
