Meanwhile, Perspectives-IIT/Joslin escaped with a win on Tuesday against the Maroons by the margin of a single free throw, 30-29. The win was just what Perspectives-IIT/Joslin needed coming off of a 59-24 defeat in their prior match.
Leilani Laws was her usual excellent self, scoring 15 points. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Perspectives-IIT/Joslin's points.
Perspectives Leadership/Technology's record now sits at 10-8. As for Perspectives-IIT/Joslin, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Everything came up roses for Perspectives Leadership/Technology against the Wolves in their previous meeting back in November of 2023 as the squad secured a 55-23 victory. With Perspectives Leadership/Technology ahead 36-9 at the half, the game was all but over already.
