The Manual Thunderbolts had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They claimed a resounding 56-20 win over Lincoln at home. Manual's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Manual was led to victory by Jaci Collins-Falcon and Dayjah Fox. Collins-Falcon scored 11 points along with five steals, while Fox dropped a double-double on 26 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fox has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Naujee Cross-Jones, who scored four points along with four steals.
Manual's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Lincoln, they dropped their record down to 7-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manual won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Denver West at 11:00 a.m. on January 13th. Hopefully Denver West focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six last Tuesday. As for Lincoln, they will head out on the road to square off against Thomas Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
