The Kenwood Bluebirds will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Franklin Indians at 5:30 p.m. Franklin took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Kenwood, who comes in off a win.
Kenwood put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Patapsco 66-33 at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Kenwood.
Meanwhile, Franklin was the victim of a tough 54-31 loss at the hands of the Raiders on Friday. Franklin was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-9.
Kenwood now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Franklin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-10.
Kenwood beat the Indians 29-19 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Will Kenwood repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
