Wayne County came into Friday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Ohio County Eagles on Friday. Considering the Cardinals have won four contests by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Wayne County's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Ohio County, they dropped their record down to 4-9 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
