The Foreman Hornets will head out on the road to face off against the Aspira Business and Finance White Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams have allowed few points on average, (Foreman: 27.1, Aspira Business and Finance: 28.8) so any points scored will be well earned.
Foreman put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They breezed by Raby at home to the tune of 51-18. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Foreman has posted yet this season.
Alysia Gause was her usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with nine steals and five rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Foreman's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shamyriah Hines, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds.
Aspira Business and Finance played against Disney II and lost via forfeit.
The win makes it two in a row for Foreman and bumps their season record up to 8-4. As for Aspira Business and Finance, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-6.
Foreman won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, slipping by Aspira Business and Finance 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Foreman since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
